Tutor

Joseph graduated with a B.A. in Biological Science from Rutgers University and holds an M.S. in Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, along with two M.A. degrees in STEM education and administration from Rowan University and the Bank Street College of Education. As a microbiology researcher at both Princeton and Rowan, Joseph worked on DNA and cellular mechanics and instructed graduate students on technical and analytical concepts. He brings years of experience as a teacher and curriculum developer at three different high schools in the Tri-State area, while also serving as an Administrative Intern at Yonkers Urban Leadership Academy (YULA) and as Advisory Board Co-Chair at Gorton High School in Yonkers. Beyond the classroom, he uses his technical skills to promote community-based STEM programs, including an Organ Donation Curriculum through the New York City Department of Education. As an academic tutor, Joseph leverages his rich background to create tailored, engaging, and inquiry-based learning experiences, leading his students to success across Biology and Living Environment, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, and more.
