Our Services
Porfirio graduated from Skidmore College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and went on to earn his Master’s of Arts in History from Hunter College with a focus on Latin American and American History in 2019. He also earned his National Board Certification in Adolescent Social Studies Education in 2015. He currently teaches Advanced Placement World History, Global History and Race and Gender at the Bronx High School of Science. He leverages his dynamic teaching style and interpersonal skills to create a warm and engaging tutoring environment with exceptional results with his students, who consistently hit 4's and 5's on their AP exams.
